  The room is very nice, very comfortable same as the bed. The space is really good. The workers are very friendly and professional and very positive attitude and has knowledge if anyone asks her anything. The only reason I gave 4 stars is mainly because there is only 2 sets of stairs on each end of the hotel but nothing in the middle and no elevator. Have read in a previous review that the coffee really isn't good which is true. That's the worst thing about the hotel but at least there is a Tim Hortons the next building over.

  Would highly recommend this place if you are staying in Owen Sound. Rooms are clean, breakfast is great.

  Price is reasonable. 1st floor offers drive up rooms which is pretty convenient. Rooms are poorly lit and rather dark. Standard complimentary breakfast. Website isn't the most user friendly as you can't book various discounted rates (ie. Government rates) through it. Staff doesn't respect privacy as they confirmed that I was staying there to someone (luckily a coworker) that just randomly called in.

  This hotel has good first impressions, but when there is a problem the staff is less than willing to help. Our room (supposedly non smoking) smelled very strongly of cigarettes, so we went to ask to switch rooms. Cassie, the front desk agent responded to all my questions immediately in a negative tone and then proceeded to tell us it wasn't cigarettes but something they sprayed in the vents...it wasn't until she was starting to process my refund that she offered us another room. Overall just not impressed with the level of professionalism at this hotel/motel. The Travel Lodge down the street has much better service and rooms that are actually smoke free!
